El Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend de Alemania organiza la International Conference "Changing Images of Ageing" que se celebrará el 12 de Diciembre de 2011 en Berlin.

Su objetivo es:

• The conference pursues the objective of stimulating exchanges on instruments of social reporting on ageing policy as developed and practised in various different countries. Debate will centre on the types of social reporting in existence, what medium and long-term themes are being addressed and held to have relevance for the future, and what politically relevant implications are identified in this context. The second aim is to take up the theme of the Sixth Government Report on the Elderly and focus on the subject of "images of ageing". We shall be discussing how the subject of images of ageing impacts various areas of action in ageing policy and what policy planning consequences can be drawn from this. The focus will be on the question whether the economy, working life and the market are ready for an ageing society.
