En el marco del "Eighth Annual Johns Hopkins Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management" que se celebrará en noviembre se impartirá el curso "Health equity research and knowledge translation: strategies and tools for researchers to contribute to policy change" impartido por Patricia O'Campo, Èlia Díez y Kelly Murphy.
El objetivo del curso es:"This course will examine social determinants of population health and health inequities. The course will explore the pathways from research to progressive policy and program change. Students will become acquainted with Knowledge Translation, which refers to a wide range of frameworks, practices, and tools that researchers can adopt to increase the relevance and influence of research in guiding health policy and practices. Intensely focuses on hands-on, leading-edge knowledge translation strategies that have been tailored for health equity research and practice. Participants will acquire new competencies and tools to increase the use of research evidence and research methods in decision-making."
